Phillip C. Winkler, 78, of Cedar Rapids, passed away, April 3, 2025. Visitation will be held from 11 AM – 1 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at 1 PM at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of Tranquility. Entombment will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Phillip was born on September 26, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of John and Lottie (Reinhart) Winkler. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Phillip was united in marriage to Patricia McClure on April 2, 1977, at Grace Brethren Church in Cedar Rapids. He was a devoted husband, who deeply loved his wife. Phillip was especially proud of his 43 ½ year long career at Rockwell Collins.
Survivors include his children, John (Kim) Winkler of Cedar Rapids and Carrie Martin of Central City; and grandchildren, Logan, Aubrey, Montana, Riggs, and Jaxon.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife.
