Carles Jill (Menge) Farley, 60, of Cedar Rapids passed away on March 28th, 2025.
Carles was Born to Marvin and Illa (Welsh) Menge on August 14th, 1964. Carles shared her birthday with her twin brother Charles. Carles had 3 children before marrying the love of her life, Douglas Farley Jr., on April 12th, 2003, she then added 2 more sons.
Carles was a lively woman who loved her family and treasured every chance to spend time with them. She was always full of laughter.
Carles was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Farley Jr.,; Her parents Marvin and Illa Menge; sister Marla Bateman; brother-in-law John “Truett” Bateman; niece Jamie Randall.
She is survived by her children Joshua Menge; Douglas Farley III (Allie); Brandon Farley (Olivia); Kayla Newman; Brittani Arneson; 5 siblings and 10 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Carles on April 4th, 2025 from 2-8 pm at First Lutheran Church, 1000 3rd Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carles’ daughter, Kayla Newman.
