Cedar Rapids
Margaret Mary White, 45, a loving soul taken too soon, passed on March 15, 2025, peacefully at her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Margaret was born on June 20,1979, in Dallas, Texas, to Steve and Mary Jean White. The last few years have been a struggle with her health, but her mother, Mary, was there by her side through it all. They had an unbreakable bond which in turn helped Margaret blossom her relationship with God again.
Her hobbies included reading, writing, snuggling her cat (Kika), gardening, and spending time with her family. With all these hobbies, Margaret was a dedicated mother to her daughter, Catherine. One of greatest joys and blessings to be a part of her life for 25 years. She loved supporting Cat though all her extracurricular activities. However, her favorite things to do together were watching movies (especially Burlesque), singing Adele songs in the car with her, and going on road trips.
Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas White; her grandparents, Gene (Alberta) Donaldson and Helen Nipper; and her uncle and aunts, Rusty (Shelma) White, and Linda Lanier.
She is survived by her parents, Steve (Mary) White; daughter, Catherine White; brother Mark (Mel) White; niece, Tali; and nephew, Flynn. They will never forget the love, happiness, and light she brought to their lives.
Services will be private for the family. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services in Cedar Rapids.
