Craig Larry Ruchotzke, 70, died peacefully Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
A graveside service for the family will be held at Red Oak Cemetery, near Tipton.
Craig was born January 5,1955 in Anamosa, the son of Leroy and Ruth Eloise (Tenley) Ruchotzke.
Craig was raised in Mechanicsville. He attended Lincoln Community High School in Stanwood. Craig moved to Iowa City and later Coralville in 2005. He worked as a part-time custodian for Old Navy for many years.
Craig enjoyed the outdoors, stock car racing, Rock concerts, and watching television.
Craig is survived by his siblings: Kirk (Betta) Ruchotzke, Connie Albaugh, Cathy Ruchotzke, Roxanna (Kerry) Koch, Barbara (Alex) Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Christy Shields; and brothers-in-law, Don Albaugh and Joe Shields.
