William (Bill) F. Kilpatrick, 82, died March 11, 2025 in Oelwein, IA. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. A visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Teahen Funeral Home is assisting Bill’s family.
Bill was born on December 2, 1942, to John and Mildred (Mellick) Kilpatrick in Waukon, IA. Despite Bill’s lifelong disabilities he had a wonderful and fulfilling life. He always had a ready smile and was a very happy person.
Bill is survived by his brothers Dale (Darlene) and Deryl (Pat), sisters Elaine Monnahan and Evelyn Seely, sister-in-law Jeanette Kilpatrick, and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John V., Tom, Bob and Greg, brother-in-law Chuck Monnahan, sisters Ann (Pete) Prentice, Mary Ellen (Walter) Drew, Virginia (Bill) Cook, Lorraine Kilpatrick, Linda Kilpatrick, and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Patrick’s Church.
