Betty Lou Arenz, 88, of Cedar Rapids passed away, March 5, 2025, following a lengthy illness. Per Betty’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Betty was born on August 19, 1936, in Tipton, Iowa, the daughter of Frank L. and Vera Mae (Wagaman) Kellerhals. She was united in marriage to James L. Arenz on October 6, 1955, in Nashua, Iowa. Betty will be remembered for her love of family and her love of daisies. She will be missed by many.
Survivors include her children, Kaye Lynn Arenz and Brad (Judy) Arenz; grandchildren, Colin (Caryn) Ivery, Ashley Arenz (Derek), and Katie (Corey) Hansen; and great-grandchildren, Aleighsia, Brynlee, Camilla, Donna, Noah, Olivia, Charlie, Henry, and Will.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband James L. Arenz in 1995; and grandson, Lukas Arenz Ivery.
