Scott Bush, 55, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away surrounded by loved ones.
Born on June 27, 1969, Scott was the beloved son of Shirley Bush and the late David Bush. A hardworking man with a talent for fixing just about anything, Scott dedicated his life to construction and took great pride in his work. In addition to his hands-on skills, he also had a passion for screen printing, creating custom designs that brought joy to those around him.
Above all else, Scott deeply loved his daughter, Megan Beebe, who was his greatest joy. His beloved cat Kiki was always by his side. He was an avid sports fan, always cheering for the Denver Broncos, watching NASCAR, and enjoyed watching a good round of golf. His passion for sports, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about will be dearly missed.
A memorial service for close friends and family to celebrate Scott’s life and legacy will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids, with a visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Memorials may be directed to Last Hope Animal Rescue or the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
