Geraldine Lenore Guthridge (Hipple) passed away on January 16, 2025, from natural causes. She was 92 years and 10 months.
Geri (as she preferred) was born March 29, 1932, in Sioux City, IA, to parents, Lenore Irma Hipple (Witt) & Lee Edward Hipple. Her family lived on a farm in Moville, IA.
There, she met and married Dale Eugene Guthridge in 1949. They moved to Hiawatha, IA, where they would raise their family. Geri worked in food service for Hiawatha Elementary School. After Dale's retirement, they moved to Vista, CA, in 1986 to be near family. This is where Dale passed at a young age. Geri married Gregory Gene Anderson 1990 and they moved to Temecula, CA, where Greg would pass away in 2019.
Geri was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a kind soul and God's good servant. She was blessed with lifelong friends in both Iowa and California.
Geri was laid to rest in Vista, CA with her beloved husband Dale.
