Cedar Rapids police respond to stabbing Monday

CEDAR RAPIDS -- One person was injured and one was arrested after a reported stabbing Monday in northwest Cedar Rapids, according to police.
Cedar Rapids police responded at 1:29 p.m. Monday to a report of a stabbing in the 300 block of Edgewood Road NW, a police news release states. When officers arrived, they found one injured person, who was taken to a hospital for evaluation. One person was taken into custody, according to the release.
Neither person is identified in the release, and police have not released information about what charges the person custody faces.
