Hiawatha
Charlotte Stanford passed away peacefully at Hiawatha Care Center on Feb. 15, 2025. Char was born in Newhall to Everett & Mabel Kunstorf. She was raised on the family farm and enjoyed her humble beginnings.
She married Richard in 1959 and had three children, Robin Clinton (Houston), Terri (Bob) Hirschfeld (SD) and Steve Stanford (Houston), raising their family in Hiawatha. Char had a wonderful artistic talent and could make just about anything. She was famous for her handmade cards and her caring heart. She always took care of her friends, family and neighbors.
Char was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and grandson. She leaves behind her children and grandchildren, Cydney Clinton, Zachary Hirschfeld and Nathan Hirschfeld, who were the light of her life.
Respecting her wishes, there will be no service. The family would like to thank the Staff at Hiawatha Care Center for all their love and support.
