Mary E. Rodman, 89, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 with her husband by her side.
She was born August 22, 1935, in Mechanicsville to Archie and Verna (Baker) McCall. She married Burton D. Rodman on October 11, 1953. Mary worked as a Food Service Supervisor for Solon Community Schools for 27 years. She was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mary loved to read faith-based books and study the scriptures.
Mary is survived by her husband of 71 years, Burton, daughter, Jean (Roger) Judas; grandchildren, Brandon (Dr. Emily Haury) Judas and Lindsey (Drew) Emmert; four great-granddaughters, Myra Rose Judas, Hazel Mae Judas, Lily Jean Emmert and Bailey Anna Emmert.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence (Opal) McCall, Ralph (Martha) McCall, and sister, Thelma (Charles) Hubler.
Funeral services will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. 4200 1st Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
