Patrick Lane, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at his home. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Patrick was born November 17, 1968, at Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son to F. Gordon and Paulette (Lavielle) Lane. Patrick worked at Menards where he stocked shelves and unloaded semis.
Patrick was well-known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor. He was also a musician and extremely talented on the drums. He loved music, video games, and movies. He most recently went to a concert with his good friend, Jack. Patrick was very much loved by his family and friends.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Paulette Lane; brother, Donald (Jackie) Lane; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and -nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, F. Gordon Lane; and uncle, Bruce.
