Shots fired over the weekend in Cedar Rapids
No one was injured, no property damage reported

CEDAR RAPIDS — Police responded to a report of shots fired early Saturday in downtown Cedar Rapids. No one was injured and no property damage was reported.
The call came at 1:45 a.m. Saturday for shots fired in the 200 block of Second Avenue SE. Officers located multiple shell casings, but “it is not believed any persons were injured or property damage occurred,” according to a news release.
No one has been arrested or charged in relation to the shots fired, but the case still is under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-272-7463, or on its website.
