The 14th Amendment on birthright citizenship is crystal clear. Donald Trump's misguided attempt to abolish it is blatantly unconstitutional. As we all know, there is a process to change it but it cannot be done at the whim of a president through an executive order.
Previously Trump wrongly asserted that "the massive fraud," which did not occur (the big lie), "allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the constitution."
Republicans who represent me took an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Sen. Grassley, Sen. Ernst, Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Gov. Kim Reynolds are violating their oath of office.
Donald Trump's words and deeds proves he is an enemy of the constitution.
