Susan Renee Zeman, 69, of Mechanicsville, Iowa, passed away on February 6, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids after a long struggle with kidney disease.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on February 10, 2025, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Decorah, with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Catholic Church Cemetery - Plymouth Rock, in Cresco.
A devoted homemaker, she loved lengthy conversation, sharing recipes, traveling & sightseeing, horses, and quilting. Faith was important to her, and she was a strong believer in the power of prayer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Zeman; parents, Wilhelmina and Rene Malli; and brothers, Sylvester and Duane Malli.
She is survived by her sons, Brian (Megan) Zeman and Clinton Zeman; sisters, Katherine Dwyer and Margaret Dick; brother Bernard Malli; nieces, Roberta Dick and Roxanne Byers (Malli); cousins Barb Van Alst (Zeien); and many other relatives and friends.
Susan's memory will forever live in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.
