Marilyn J. Frank (Ament), 90, died peacefully on January 8, 2025, in her home in Pompano Beach, FL. She grew up in Dyersville, Iowa and lived most of her life in Cedar Rapids, Iowa until 2020.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Michael Frank, and her daughter Cheryl.
She is Survived by her two sisters, JoAnn Smith, Therese O'Brien, children Teresa Frank, Mary Ann (Bruce) Colton, Jim (Mary) Frank, Molly (Michael) Frank-Stewart, Paul (Margaret) Frank, and Steven (Patricia) Frank.
She was blessed with 12 grandchildren who will miss her smiles, hugs and laughter: Aimee, Joel, Laura, Katie, Joshua, Kayla, Ben, Sullivan, Bailey, Jacob, Annelise, and Hayden. She was blessed with six great grandchildren: Hunter, Harper, Carter, Aiden, Elijah, and Claire.
Marilyn graduated from St. Teresa's College in Winona, MN in 1956 with her BSN in nursing. She married Mike in 1957. Marilyn left nursing and established a new career with Shaklee Corporation in 1971. She blossomed with Shaklee, growing her business, meeting new people who became lifelong friends, and continued to sell as a key coordinator for almost 50 years until her death. She was an active member of All Saints Church and Saint Monica's Circle. She started the Joyous Hearts Ladies Catholic Book Club and thoroughly enjoyed those discussions. She loved reading and she faithfully devoted herself to daily prayer.
Marilyn had so many good friends and continued those relationships until her death.
A celebration of life will be held at All Saints Church Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10:00 am.
