Robert Francis Brawner, 64, of Cedar Rapids passed away at his home on Friday, January 25, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held from 12 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at North Point Bar, 621 Center Point Rd. NE. Teahen Funeral Home and Cremation is serving the family.
Robert is survived by his children Dennis (Danielle), Kristi, Chaise (Kyler), Cassie, Zach, Jennifer and Kenneth; 11 grandchildren, Kayla, Zach, Jace, Aiden, Landyn, Rylee, Allena, Zayden, Cameron, Ashley and Jeremiah; siblings, James (Nina) Brawner, Joseph Brawner and Victoria (Randy) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Viola Brawner and sister, Teresa Rose.
Robert was born on October 7, 1960 in Cedar Rapids. He attended La Salle High School where he participated in many sports.
Robert liked singing karaoke and was known as Bobby. He also enjoyed bowling, playing pool and darts. He was an excellent cook and could be found reading Nora Roberts and JD Robb books. Robert loved spending time with his family and he will be missed.
Instead of flowers memorial may be directed to Robert’s family.
