I wonder what Senator Grassley is thinking now?
As the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, I wonder if Sen. Chuck Grassley is in support of the pardons given to the Jan. 6 insurrectionists, especially Stewart Rhoades, leader of the Oath Keepers, and Enrique Tarrio, leader of the Proud Boys. They are convicted felons and were involved in activities that led to the injury and death of police officers.
President Donald Trump's attorney general nominee Pam Bondi stated at her hearing that she condemned any violent acts against police officers. If Sen. Grassley is in support of these pardons or doesn't speak out, he is the biggest hypocrite on the committee and it is a sad day for Iowans to have him as our senator and as chairman of the Judiciary Committee. I understand the president can do this, but if Sen. Grassley does not speak out against these pardons he will lose any respect I have for him. If others feel the same, please speak out.
