Dale Bohnsack, 93, went to his heavenly home on January 14, 2025, after complications from a fall. Family visitation will be from 12:30-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1st at Oak Grove Church, 6101 32nd Street Ave, Shellsburg, Iowa. Celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m.
Dale was born on December 14, 1931, in Traer, Iowa. He was a man of many talents, but farming was his real passion.
At the age of 14, he met the love of his life, Roberta Hoskey. They were married on January 28th, 1950. He passed just 14 days shy of their 75th wedding anniversary.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, daughter Barbara Blumgren, grandsons Tanner Bohnsack and Seth Blumgren and granddaughter Jade Blumgren. He is survived by his loving wife Roberta, daughter Bonnie (Ron) White, sons David (LuAnn), Brian (Marie) and Todd (Rene), along with 25 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Dale leaves behind a lifetime of memories and more love than any family could ever need.
