Joleen Ann Dagit, 74, of Cedar Rapids passed away, January 23, 2025. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Lovely Lane United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids.
Joleen was born on February 1, 1950, in Jefferson, Iowa, the daughter of Evans and Betty (Benson) Kuhn. She was married to Robert Dagit in 1971 in Farnhamville, Iowa. She enthusiastically embraced the role of pastor’s wife and took on many aspects of church leadership throughout their years of ministry. Teaching bible studies, in particular, was something she found very meaningful.
Being a mother was Joleen’s true calling and her greatest legacy. She is survived by husband, Bob; brother, Gary Kuhn of Gowry; daughter, Eden (Michael) Gens; son, Aaron (Julie) Dagit; son, Wyatt Dagit; daughter, Amity (Tim) Preston; and grandchildren, Bobby, Ethan, Libby, Isaac, Stella, Simon, Owen, Anna, Josie, and Elliott. She is preceded in death by her parents, Evans and Betty Kuhn, and her daughter, Susan Dagit.
