Kathryn Foltz and Tanner Smart, both of Ankeny, announce their engagement. Kathryn is the daughter of Jim and Julie Foltz of Cedar Rapids. Tanner is the son of Jim and Deb Smart of Johnston.
Kathryn is a nurse with UnityPoint and a doctoral student at the University of Iowa. Tanner is a manager with Von Maur and is completing his liberal arts education. The couple will exchange wedding vows in October 2019 in Nevada, IA.
