Debra Leigh Miller, 65, of Homosassa, FL., passed away on January 7, 2025 after a brief illness.
Debbie was born in Iowa City, IA., to Harry & Rita Miller and was a 1977 graduate of Iowa City West High School. In the mid-eighties she realized her dream of moving to Florida, where she enjoyed the Gulf waters and warm weather. There she built a life with Gary Horrell and his children. Together they renovated many beautiful homes.
Debbie loved traveling with family and friends and especially enjoyed the “Ladies Trip’s” with her twin sister.
Survivors include her siblings Randy (Marj) Miller of High Amana, Dawn (Brian) Neppel of Iowa City, Scott (Laura) Miller of Lone Tree, her nieces and nephews, Gary Horrell and his children. She is reunited with her parents and grandparents.
Her remains have been cremated. Memorial services are pending.
