Wayne Dean Tollefson, age 76, formerly of Decorah, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at his home in Central City, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Central City Amvets, 16 S 4th St., Central City, Iowa 52214.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Amvets, payable to Amvets. Address: PO Box 325, Central City, IA 52214.
Wayne Dean Tollefson was born to Ernest Walter Tollefson and Nina Mae Thorson on August 24, 1948 in Decorah, Iowa.
Preceding him in death were his father, Ernest; mother, Nina; brother, Russell Tollefson.
Wayne is survived by his children Ron Tollefson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Randy (Sherrie) Tollefson of Vinton, Iowa; stepsons, Shawn Hanf, Travis Hanf and Brandon Hanf; sister, Cheryl (Dennis) Choate of Norway, Iowa; and many nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
