IOWA CITY — As Iowa football fans renew their season tickets in 2025, they may see some changes in ticket pricing and parking.
Prices for season ticket renewals will range from $370 to $460, which the athletics department said in a Wednesday press release is an average increase of “around 4 percent.” Those figures do not include the minimum annual donation required for those seats.
The slight increase in ticket prices comes ahead of a 2025 home slate that has several marquee matchups. That includes three games against teams that were in this year’s College Football Playoff — Indiana on Sept. 27, Penn State on Oct. 18 and Oregon on Nov. 8. The Hawkeyes also will host Floyd of Rosedale rival Minnesota on Oct. 25.
Iowa football’s 2025 parking changes involve Lot 33, Lot 40 and Ramp 4.
The university is planning to construct a parking ramp adjacent to Carver-Hawkeye Arena in part of the area where Lot 33 and Lot 40 currently are. (When complete, the ramp is expected to net an extra 800 parking spots, according to last year’s proposal to the Board of Regents.)
Lot 33 and Lot 40 will turn into one lot during construction, per an athletics department spokesman, with about 300 spaces available for use.
Ramp 4 parking, meanwhile, will “no longer be utilized for game day parking to accommodate the needs of patients and staff of the University of Iowa Health Care,” according to Wednesday’s release.
“We understand and appreciate the importance of game day tailgating and how parking plays a significant role in that experience,” Iowa deputy athletics director Joe Parker said in the release. “The recent construction has created some challenges and we appreciate the understanding from our fans.”
Iowa’s priority, Parker said, “was to make sure donors who previously had surface parking will receive that opportunity again and the same for those parked in a ramp.”
The season ticket renewal deadline is March 31. Season ticket holders will receive an email in April with a date and time to make changes to seating and parking, per the release.
