Douglas Dean Brown, 64, of North Liberty, passed away at his home surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 11 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Iowa City. The family will greet guests at the church from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Following the service please join the family for refreshments in the church parish hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Technology Services at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Fur Fun Rescue in Lisbon Iowa, or Electronic Frontier Foundation.
Doug is survived by his wife Linda, sons Christopher and William; siblings: David Brown, Judy Brown, Joyce (Brown) Kuethe; nieces and nephews: Cole, Trent, and Lauren and by numerous extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Minerva Brown, in-laws Howard and Avril Cooper.
