Carol Jeanne Lane died on December 17, 2024 at 2:44 AM following a progressive illness.
A public memorial will be held Saturday Jan 4th, 1 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 2204 26th St NW; Cedar Rapids, IA 52405.
Carol was born in 1943 in Burlington, IA, spending most of her life in Cedar Rapids, IA.
She is preceded in death by her mother Winnie in 1998 and her son, Joseph in 2023.
She is survived by her youngest son, Michael, Daughter in Law Dawn, and grandson Oli, along with Joseph's wife Abby, and their 3 grandchildren, Phoebe, Seth, and Raine.
Carol's faith, particularly that of an earthly resurrection, was her and is her families primary focus in life, she being active as one of Jehovah's Witnesses since, 1981.
Carol was very hospitable, loved League Bowling, time and trips with family and friends, Colorado, and her original family home at Burlington's 'Swiss Cottage'. She retired from US Cellular.
