Kevin Ford, 72, of Troy Mills, Iowa, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025. Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1952, Kevin lived a full life dedicated to his family, career, and passions.
A talented engineering technician, Kevin was known for his meticulous work and creativity. Even outside of his profession, he was rarely without a project to tinker on around his home, a testament to his inventive spirit and hands-on approach to life.
Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing and deer hunting. He loved being surrounded by nature and sharing those moments with friends and family. Known for his quick wit, Kevin always seemed to have a saying or quote for every situation, delivering them with a humor and charm that brought a smile to those around him.
Kevin is survived by his three children, Aaron (Valerie), Amelia, and Alexander (Kelli); and grandchildren, Anson, Evelyn, Marshall and Louis, all of whom were a source of pride and love in his life.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marguerite Ford; and siblings, Claire Posusta, Carole Schnoebelen, and Craig Ford.
Per Kevin’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. His family encourages those who knew and loved him to celebrate his life in their own way, perhaps with a quiet day outdoors or by tackling a project in his honor.
He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Please share your support and memories with Kevin’s family on his Tribute Wall at www.stewartbaxter.com under Obituaries.
