With the election of our 47th president, as I write this, I hope I have enough savings to help me pay for my sustaining life. He has already said he will mess with Social Security and Medicare. He will put RFK in charge of his "concepts of a plan“ for health care — the guy who has expressed anti-vax opinions. I understand that's a choice, but still a scary person in charge of health care.
Look for higher prices on our everyday living. Maybe Elon Musk could just give every American $1,000,000 instead of an elite few. Hopefully, those who did get taxed for a "gift."
I just don't understand what our country has come to, voting for a convicted felon, who could pardon himself, a twice impeached President, if you choose to call him that, he's been caught in so many lies. He has said he will end the war between Ukraine and Russia in 24 hours, better get on the phone to his buddy Putin.
I am giving a quote I heard: "I'm not feeling great again." I hope our country can sustain the liberties we have after four years of this presidency.
God bless America.
