I started my career with a daily newspaper in central Illinois and then moved to the digital landscape working for my Alma Mater, Eastern Illinois University, and multiple private companies while freelancing for numerous local, national and international newspapers covering news, sports and politics over the last 20 years. In my free time, I enjoy watching all sports, playing soccer, running, cooking and taking care of my vegetable garden.
