Garlin “Gary” Parmer Jr., 59, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in Swisher, Iowa. No services are planned.
Gary was born December 23, 1964, son to Garlin and Donna (Moore) Parmer in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In his early years, Gary worked as a roofing contractor. He was known to be a homebody who liked to be outside and be in the sun.
Gary is survived by his sister, Penny (Chris) Marak. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Elizabeth Grother, Pam Slaymaker, and Karen Thorn.
