Bonnie Rae Dixon, 78, of Lisbon, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Oldorf Hospice House, Hiawatha, Iowa. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 5, 2024, Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, Iowa, with visitation one hour prior. Burial: Lisbon Cemetery.
Bonnie was born on May 11, 1946, the daughter of Elmer and Alice (Trevethen) Horton. She was united in marriage to Terrill Jay Dixon on September 14, 1963, in Davenport, Iowa.
Bonnie worked many jobs over the years. Most recently being a loving grandmother to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, and camping.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Sheri (Alan) Svatosch and Brad (Michelle) Dixon; grandchildren, Emily (Mitch) Monarchino, Tyler (Dorothy) Svatosch, Bethany (Hunter Rottman) Dixon, and Brittney (Levi) Graver; great-grandchildren, Gabe Dixon, Wyatt Miller, Grayson Miller, Tobias Rottman, Leon Graver, Lyla Graver, Dreis Monarchino, and Abram Monarchino; sister, Tina (Steve Smith) Williams; close friend, Ronnie Barker; special brother-in-law, Donald Hill; family pet, Tiny; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Elmer Horton, Gary Horton, Gene Horton, Alice Smith, Linda Horton, and Judy Piper.
