What to know: The intimate Pentagon (capacity 3,250) is the setting for Iowa’s first meeting with Kansas since 2009. The Jayhawks lead the series 4-2.
Sioux Falls is 379 miles from Iowa City, 385 miles from Lawrence.
Iowa faces three teams from the Big 12 (Kansas, BYU and Iowa State) in its non-conference schedule, along with two from the Mid-American and one each from the ACC, SEC, Pac-12, Missouri Valley and Atlantic 10.
The Hawkeyes improved to 4-0 with an 86-73 win at Drake on Sunday. Addison O’Grady made her first seven shots and finished with a career-high 27 points and 10 rebounds.
Lucy Olsen, a transfer guard from Villanova, leads the Hawkeyes at 17.8 points per game. O’Grady adds 16.8 per game, Hannah Stuelke 14.5.
Kansas is allowing 53.5 points per game. Opponents are shooting just 33 percent against the Jayhawks, 20 percent from 3-point range.
S’Mya Nichols (6-0 sophomore guard) leads KU at 18.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
