Those who preceded Jim in death were his parents, brother, John, sister, Dorothy McCown, daughter, Angela Hofer, son, Timothy, and grandson, Tanner Tharp.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda, Mesa, AZ, daughters, Carol (John deceased) Gibbs, Vinton, IA and Julie (Scott) Rouse, Elkhorn, NE, son, Joseph (Sandy), Baltimore, MD, son-in-law, Paul Hofer, Mt. Pleasant, IA, daughter-in-law, Tracy Kearns, Evansville, IN, brother, Tommy, Donnellson, IA, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A man of quiet faith, Jim awaits his loved ones where Christ resides.
