Ann E. Schooley, 74, of Cedar Rapids. left us on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date. Private final place of interment will be held in 2018.
Ann was born Feb. 22, 1943, the daughter of Richard and Opal (Evans) Ainsworth, in Cedar Rapids.
On July 20, 1962, Ann was married to the love of her life, Robert James (Jim) Schooley.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, of 54 years; and her parents, Richard and Opal.
Left to mourn her passing are three children, Debbie (David) Von Stein of Cedar Rapids, Rick (Suzie) Schooley of Pendleton, Ore., and Robert (Teresa) Schooley of Chico, Calif.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Larry Schooley of Cedar Rapids; cousin, Jackie Davidson of Tallahassee, Fla.; many more family members; and her extremely pampered cat, Blossom.
Memorial contributions can be made on behalf of Ann to the ASPCA.
