CEDAR RAPIDS — Willie Ray Fairley, known as much for his charitable endeavors as his barbecue restaurant in northeast Cedar Rapids, will be part of a food giveaway hosted and funded by Frank’s Tree Service.
The 5th Annual Kids Coat Giveaway, an initiative started by business owner Frank Orr, will offer hot barbecue to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 16 at 6377 Partners Ave. in Marion — the location for Frank’s Country Auto and Frank’s Tree Service.
In addition to food, the event will offer children free haircuts from The Men’s Room, as well as coats, hats and gloves for winter. Adults with no children are eligible to receive one coat, hat and set of gloves, as well.
