Robert “Bobby” Dewain Noble, 83, of Cedar Rapids passed away at his home, Monday, October 28, 2024.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home immediately followed by a service.
Bobby was born the son of John W. and Lillian (Davis) Noble on August 2, 1941, in Iowa City. Bobby was raised by his mother Lillian and his step-father, Dorrance “Dode” Keegan. Bobby had older siblings; Bill and Kay and younger siblings Kathy and Rod. Later in life he found a half-sister Sandy.
On June 7, 1975, in Delhi, IA, he married Ruth Sunderlin Ellison and from this marriage gained step-children, Amy, Rachel, Georgia and Russell. Bobby and Ruth were married for 39 years before Ruth’s passing in 2014.
Robert is survived by his sister Kathy (Bill) Gralund of Cedar Rapids; half-sister Sandy Bivens, sister-in law Tami Keegan, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by stepdaughter, Rachel Bushkofsky and many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, his parents Lillian and Dode Keegan, and siblings John W. “Bill” Noble of Strawberry Point; sister Hazel “Kay” Burke of Ryan; brother, Rodney Keegan of Grand Mound.
The family extends a special thank-you to Laura, Kim, and the residents of Westover Manor.
