The Gazette offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
With all the ads and mail, the upcoming election issues can be confusing.
In my opinion if you believe:
In the “we versus they” talk, vote Republican.
In climate change, vote Democratic.
In Project 2025 and Agenda 47, vote Republican.
Our roads and bridges need repair, vote Democratic.
A candidate is a protector of women, vote Republican.
In public education, vote Democratic.
Assault rifles should be in hands of everyone, vote Republican.
Immigrants process our meat and pick our vegetables, vote Democratic.
In vengeance for opposing a candidate, vote Republican.
In developing a community for all, vote Democratic.
There is no problem with our water, vote Republican.
That critical thinking should be taught in schools, vote Democratic.
We need to increase big government to control women's health, books, history lessons.., vote Republican.
The wealthy should pay it's fair share of taxes, vote Democratic.
The death penalty and tariffs should increase, vote Republican.
Jan. 6 was an insurrection, vote Democratic.
If you believe that leaders should be role models for our kids, well I will leave that for you to look at each candidate's words, deeds and friends and decide and VOTE.
