I took this photo while out photographing the weather using a long-exposure technique to emphasize the large amount of wind and rain. There was a lot of lightning that night, and I was using it to illuminate the dark sky. When I drove past the power plant on my way home and saw it light up with the lightning, I had to turn around to stop for the photo. After waiting out a train and several attempts, I was able to catch a lightning strike in the frame. Electricity, get it?
