Patricia L. O'Rourke, 71, of Marion, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, where friends may call from 10 a.m. to time of service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa.
Patricia was born Nov. 14, 1946, the daughter of Earl and Margaret (Reese) Johnson. She graduated from Washington Senior High School in Cedar Rapids. On July 2, 1976, she married John O'Rourke in Toddville, Iowa. He died in 2009. She was employed at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids and after retirement, she owned and operated 10th Street Station in Marion. She also worked at the Whiffle Tree in Monticello, Iowa.
She is survived by a son, Wade Fink of Marion; daughters, Renee (Ken) Dede of Marion, Ann (Danny) Smith of Greencastle, Pa., and Kerri O'Rourke of Fort Mill, S.C.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Judy Johnson of Boone, Iowa; and a former daughter-in-law, Nancy (Rich) Martin of Denver, Colo.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jim and Jerry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.
