Donald Trump would not last five minutes on any school playground in America for his lewd and vulgar language, to say nothing of his bullying. No self-respecting teacher would tolerate his behavior in a classroom around impressionable students, yet our children are seeing Trump’s behavior and hearing his foul language on television and on the new vast wasteland of the internet every day.
We have all witnessed a drastic decline in civility and an increase of coarse language in the public sphere since Trump came on the stage. How much more of this X-rated act do we want our children exposed to? We have all, especially teachers, seen a dramatic decline in the behavior and language of our children. We do not need an encore performance.
When asked to serve his country, Trump found a doctor to claim bone spurs and declare him unfit to serve. Nothing he has done since then has changed that diagnosis. His disparagement of veterans and the testimony of his top military and senior administration staff declaring him dangerous and unfit to serve should be a warning to us all.
We have a clear choice in this election. Use your vote wisely.
