VINTON
David J. Martin, 53, of Vinton was called to rest at Unity Point St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids on Friday, October 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held from 2:00 until 5:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Phillips Funeral Home (212 E. 6th Street) in Vinton. Military Honors will be conducted at the funeral home at 2:30 PM by U.S. Marine Corps Funeral Honors and Geo G. Luckey American Legion Post # 57 of Vinton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. All are invited to share a memory or story of their treasured time with David.
