BARBARA ELLEN MCCUNE

Barbara Ellen McCune passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at her home.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley of North English; five siblings, Katherine (Jay) Friesen of Tucson, Ariz., Tom (Darlene) McCune of Cedar Rapids, Janet (Monte) Kugley of Homestead, Carolyn McCune of Des Moines and Kim McCune (Steve Fuhrmeister) of Iowa City; a sister-in-law, Joy McCune of Albert Lea, Minn.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, John III and William; and her husband, Orville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Parnell. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg, where there will be a prayer service at
4 p.m.
Memorials are for Safe Haven of Iowa County.
