Daniel Lloyd Cashman, 80, of West Branch, formerly of Iowa City, IA, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Crestview Specialty Care. Private family graveside will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Iowa City. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-6 PM, Friday, November 8, at The Kirkwood Room, 515 Kirkwood Avenue, Iowa City, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Care Initiatives Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
Daniel was born on January 16, 1944 in Iowa City, IA, the son of Lloyd Thomas and Elizabeth Mary (Miller) Cashman. He graduated from Regina High School, Class of 1963 and attended The University of Iowa.
Daniel is survived by his three children, Kelly Cashman, Sean (Tricia) Cashman, Jessica Cashman; five grandchildren, Caleb, Jack and Emma Phillips, Evelyn Cashman; three siblings, Patrick (Sharon) Cashman of Lorton, VA, Keenan (Susan) Cashman of Houston, TX, and Mary (Richard) Fox of Iowa City.
