Clifford “Skip” Kryger Jr. of Anamosa, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024, at St. Lukes Hospital. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories on Saturday, October 19, 2024. The burial will take place at a later date at Mt. Clark Cemetery in Central City, Iowa.

Skip was born May 3, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Clifford and Barbara (Rask) Kryger. He graduated in 1978 from Central City High School.
He married Selena Jennings, and together they had two sons, Chad and James. Skip and Selena later divorced. He married Debra Floyd, and they later divorced.
Skip would never do anything to hurt anyone, but he would do everything to help you. He loved to dance and sing and had a beautiful voice. He couldn’t go anywhere without meeting someone he knew. He enjoyed watching wrestling with his mom. He was a great storyteller. Skip loved his boys and would do anything for them. He dedicated his life to his family.
Those left to grieve his passing include his mother, Barb Kryger-Giese; his sons, Chad and James (Sarah) Kryger; grandchildren, whom he adored, Waylon, Noah, Isaac, and Gracelyn; sister Pam (Charlie) Brown; brother and best friend, Kelly Kryger (Debra Minnick); stepbrother, Richard (Shana) Giese; nephew, Travis Knapp, and his nieces, Stacy Feld, Taylor and Kerissa Kryger.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Kryger Sr., and his stepfather, Otto Giese.
