What have other countries done to aid the U.S?

Case in point: I was watching KCRG News the morning of Sept, 25, when it reported the possibility of another government shutdown. That wasn’t the worst of the news. It was immediately followed by the story of another $375 million to Ukraine for missiles and other weapons of mass destruction. Now, as bad as that is, I can’t understand why they worry about giving money away when there is already a national debt of $35.3 trillion.
If money isn’t an issue, how about taking better care of seniors on Social Security, the needy and our homeless sleeping in the streets? This country is too strong to be unable to care for ourselves.
I am sympathetic to the plight of the Ukrainian people, but I always ask what have other countries done to help the United States?
