Don’t waste your vote on a candidate who won’t win

My dear brother Jerry died in 2022 at age 93. Like most people, he had some regrets in life. One he shared with me. He couldn’t stand Trump but wasn’t fond of Hillary so he didn’t vote for her either. He voted for one of the lesser candidates whom he knew would lose. Then he spent four years regretting that Hillary didn’t win.
His advice — vote — but don’t throw your vote away by voting for someone you are sure won’t win. Vote for someone who is trustworthy, decent and seems to have enough support to possibly win. This election I will vote for the Harris-Walz ticket. I do not want to live with regret.
