To the church body, your vote matters! Exodus 18:21
I heard a statistic recently which stated 40 million Christians don’t vote in elections. The Bible contains historical facts of kings and judges who ruled in various nations. This nation was founded on Judeo-Christian values. America is a republic and we are blessed to have a constitution which gives us the right to vote.
To be clear, my faith is in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not man. The most important thing I can do as a believer in Jesus is to try to lead others to have a relationship with Him. The freedom to continue to do that “most important thing” is based on my right to vote. No candidate is perfect but I will vote my faith in each election that God allows us to have according to His will. My faith vote is for protecting the unborn (Psalm 139:13), protected/closed borders (Deuteronomy 32:8), and to protect against the evil of human trafficking/slavery (1 Timothy 1:9-10).
For each person who does not vote, that is equivalent to a “yes” vote for the opposing candidate. I for one want to do my part for the simple fact to help protect God’s creation, His children. If you are a Christian who does not vote, why don’t you?
2 Chronicles 7:14 - I pray God has mercy on this nation that has turned its back on God.
