The Linn County Board of Supervisors is the legislative, policymaking, and administrative branch of county government. The Board is responsible for enforcing ordinances, setting the annual county levy rate, overseeing Linn County’s budget, guiding the strategic direction of the County, and other matters related to the health and welfare of Linn County and its residents.
We need supervisors who consider all sides of many complex issues, who will consider varying viewpoints and consider the long term consequences of their decisions.
I highly recommend Molly Donahue for this important position.
I’ve known Molly for her entire life, and have always been impressed with her friendly and caring attitude, and her ability to see situations holistically.
Molly has been a teacher in the Cedar Rapids public school system for 33 years, including special needs students. She’s most recently served in the Iowa Senate after having served four years in the Iowa House.
Professionally and personally, Molly takes the time to listen to people and their concerns, which has contributed to her success in public service, and with students and their families.
Vote to elect Molly Donahue as a Linn County Supervisor.
