Richard Randall “Randy” Rogers, age 78, longtime area educator, coach, businessman and resident, died Sunday, October 6, 2024, in Wayne, Nebraska where he and his wife, Shirlee had moved to be closer to family.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Sunday, October 13. at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City where visitation will be from 2 pm until service time. Masonic memorial services will be held at 6 pm Sunday that evening. Burial will take place on Monday at the Laurel, Nebraska cemetery at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Randy’s memory.
