WILLIAM JOSEPH ZBANEK SR.
Shueyville
William Joseph Zbanek, Sr., 85, of Shueyville, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at his home. Services by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
William was born Aug. 15, 1932, in Bertram Township, Iowa, the son of William and Agnes (Stock) Zbanek. He worked for 43 years as a mechanic at Cryovac. William enjoyed fishing, boating and motorcycle riding. He had a special love for his pets. To many friends, he was known as "The Bull."
William is survived by his son, William "Bill" (Kelly) Zbanek Jr. of Shueyville; daughter, Darlene Zbanek of Denver, Colo.; and his beloved cat, Harvey.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Linda Hamilton; and son, David Zbanek.
